Transportation Services

Staffed by volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles, we take hundreds of patients to and from hospital for treatment and therapy sessions in a year. For many patients, this means travelling to Glasgow on a daily basis for a period of up to eight weeks and many people rely on us to get them there.

Patients are collected directly from their homes, accompanied to hospital and driven home after treatment is completed. The service is especially useful for those who feel unwell after treatment, those who have no car of their own, the elderly and parents taking children for treatment.

Yearly, our drivers covered approximately 100,000 miles taking patients to various hospital and therapy appointments.
